Weighed about 20 pounds. The precurser to the "stage race". Made of Excell high-nickel content tubing. Shimano 600 ultegra throughout with occasional brake substituitions. Very short wheelbase-rear end was skittish and there was some toe overlap. Too aggressive for comfortable tri riding.

• Goofy Scott DH aerobars.
• Used Scott clip-ons in the World's Toughest with regular Mavic MA-40's and Campy Record hubs because of wind and terrain.
